1940. GALAN is founded as a company devoted to textile machinery repairing.

1942. GALAN manufacture the first skein machine.

1948. GALAN manufacture the first doubling machine.

50's

In the early years GALAN manufacture the first gear-driven spindle.

The UP-TWISTING machines are developed thanks to the gear-driven system.

60's

GALAN manufacture the first gear-driven Ring Doubling and Twisting machine. Patent System.

1964. GALAN present the whole range of Ring Doubling and Twisting machines in the Barcelona International Trade Fair.

70's

1975. GALAN present for first time their production in ITMA' 75 of Paris.

1977. GALAN manufacture the CHSE Model, Semi-Worsted Ring Spinning machine.

1979. GALAN create the MINITWISTER concept, monoblock ring doubling and twisting machines with up to 21 spindles which still stands out for it versatility.

80's

1980. Manufacture the CHFT Model, False Twist Spinning machine to drafting wool.

1983. GALAN manufacture the Precision Cross Winder CAP model.

The Ring Twister machines reach up to Ø300 mm rings for the production of big packages medium-thick yarns.

By the end of 80's GALAN applies the doffing devices to Ring Twisting and Spinning machines.

90's

1994. Manufacture the First Fully-Automatic Precision cross Winding machines, model BB. Patented System.

1995. GALAN manufacture the CRF model, Fancy Yarn Ring Twisting machines. At the same time the first Ring Doubling and Twisting machines with rings Ø400 is created for the rope-manufacturers.

1997. GALAN manufacture de CHEP model, Ring Spinning machine for Cotton.

00's

The spindles are activated by spindle-motor.

2000. GALAN go into the two-for-one field with ZWR model machine.

2001. GALAN introduce in the market the first modular Ring Twister machine with fully independent spindles, model UNI 1X1.

2002. Manufacture the MULTI range, to offer more versatility to the twisting machinery market.

2003. GALAN present at ITMA Birmingham the First Modular Two-for-One Twisting machine model UNI 2X1.
